In Reply to: Should have hit him with thornheart, entangle spike growth if possible, which i think it does there, then the wolves would have done you more good n/t posted by some druid not that one on August 28, 2000 at 12:23:59:

Thornheart would give the battlerager a free round of attacks, all that can be deathblowed. It also takes 2 rounds to cast one thornheart. She hit two devastates with the sunray in 2 rounds, even with the thornheart completed she would have had done no damage done to him, and would be quite hurt. Entangle and spike growth is probably a good idea though, to reduce his parrying ability. However, the tactic I've found that works best with a druid most of the time is hitting hard and fast, as they can't handle damage very well.
Her roleplaying is pretty chaotic, so you don't expect to see her sitting around and studiously practicing supplications, but talking to snakes and whatever else she does.

(ps) If anyone has any other tactics such as Nepenthe, The Arcane, or Proud Blade or any other credible source, I'd like to know what she should have done there too.
