Torria had the unfortunate (or fortunate depending on how much fun she had with it) honor, of being the first person Shok broke out his 'kill this person' card with. Hero'ing up as a Dawnie, then flipping to Empire (as well as one or two things in her role) made me decide that the character (not the player, it was an ic thing) needed to be shown the full fury of the Light scorned. As such I wrote a note to all Maran and it basically said 'kill the betrayer, she is your highest priority'...in a roleplaying sense there wasn't a whole lot a paladin/shaman/etc could do when thier god shows up and says 'bring me the head of that one.' except to do so. Did Torria die a lot without equipment? Yep. Was it un-paladin-like for Laureolia to kill her without gear? Nope. Commandments from your god are generally not open to interpetation or questions, so Lauereolia acted fully within the bounds of a Maran paladin. I'll also point out that Torria (when I appeared before her in the citadel) blowing me off, didn't help her case much...*shrug* bad time for arrogance I suppose.

oh brother you got shit on in the end
Try for a dollar, you die trying
learning the same lessons once again.
When the going gets tough from the get-go
go man go, oh brother not another mutherf*cker
gotta go now."
