Is using you head just repeating the same things Narlock says? I thought Masters were students and thus supposed to form their own theories upon the spells they use. If you are in a learning environment like a university, you will quickly find out, that there are differing opinions on a lot of things. Maybe even several theories fit. For example, varying on the theory, light can be thought of as a particle or a wave, which is definitely two different things.
Up until Narlock's leadership, the theory in Masters was that all the basic spells was things you needed to learn to move up in your craft and was cast in the same manner for all mages. So... Who needs to use his head? The one who actually has his own opinion or the ones, who just grovel for Narlock because they are afraid of uninduction? If the Masters have turned into a dictatorship, I, personally would rather be outside the Tower (which, I incidently am :P).

Well, just my ramble.

> This would-be spoke with me next, and ignoring his inability to construct sentences and such, I immediately realized what the other Master frowned upon. I logged it actually, but I see no point in posting it now. In fact, I suppose I won't say what exactly is wrong with all that; Most of you know, I'm sure. It is unfortunate how the spell is worded when used, that is obviously what confounded him. Still, even a tiny bit of thought on his part would fix that. I think the first Master did his job well. Perhaps that would-be will think things through and come back. He doesn't need know everything in the beginning, but he DOES need to use his brain in some manner.
