Wanna get into a cabal? Do what 60% of caballed players do,find the leader on IRC or ICQ and start comparing past characters, I'm sure you'll find some are old pals.
You'll both share some stories, have a good chuckle then POOF you're in!

All you have to do now is just give the magic password or secret handshake or *wink* of approval IC, then all your other guys will get in too. This is how a lot of people are inducted to cabals nowadays, I feel sorry for the people who actually take the time and effort to roleplay and get their knees dirty to get in. That's why I stay away from cabals altogether.
