I only remember one log from the viewpoint of a character who was a terrible Master (several notes had been written to the previous leader and Narlock about him). You have no idea what Bfardio (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) told Narlock about their (Bfardio/Hruptek) conversation and it seems to me from that log that Narlock was getting more pissed off at his attitude than anything else. I don't care what cabal I'm leader of..if someone speaks to me like that and shows me no respect... I'm kicking their a** out of the cabal. I don't think that doesn't make me a tyrant or whatever.
