it's not character assassination. Assumptions do not often equate to character assassination and none of us know what happened before or after the content of the log.
Now if the log showed Jirgolo looking at Balrahd, shrugging, then giving him a highfive after having the helm of brilliance shoot off, it would be character assassination. However, since none of us know whether or not Jirgolo did realize that Balrahd was wearing the helm, whether or not he noticed the helm go off in combat, or whether or not he attacked Balrahd after the fact, it cannot be char assassination.
I think every log has IC ramifications, something I may or may not feel like discussing at length in the future.
