looking at a few of the responses it seems that some people think that taking advantage of an unprepared foe unhonorable. It's good combat skills. I'm not going to walk up to a damn invoker with all his shields/shield/aura/barrier/stone skin/sanc up. I'm going to hit and run, buying time. Set up snares, watch him walk into them and wait. Then I'm going to ambush his sorry ass after his protections fall. Dishonorable? Hell no. There is a reason Leika has the ability to force a person to one on one combat. She roleplays and does it well enough to impress the immortals. I agree with Track, only need to blame one's self for getting caught with your protections down. And at hero, having sanc/protective shield up all the time, isn't that hard. I also believe someone brought up a few tactics that would have helped the shaman win the fight. energy drain for example. Those who roleplay are rewarded. It's a fact of life on CF now a days. roleplay as well, perhaps you'll be given "neat" things as well.
