I kind of liked this..there are so many possibilities:
1. This rager interview was of the sphere deception; perhaps he knew the real history and just wanted to screw with someone's mind.
2. This rager got the history from whoever interviewed/inducted him. And he believed it completely.
3. This rager got the history from mommy/daddy, whom he believed completely.
4. This rager, being somewhat fucked in the head, took what he knew and through many battles and neardeaths with mages, constructed his own view of it.

There is always the helpfiles...but what are they really? Where do we separate the player from the character? If Pingelton would have said, "Fuck you! I read the help files! The real history is:" would he have been inducted?

Hell, I'm sure every cabal has their own history. For that matter, every Immortal would probably word it differently as well. Kind of like this world I'm forced to visit now and again (I'll call it reality).
Alteration of history is not only good rp, but probably human nature.

Word to your Muthah.
