what i have noticed on my countless raids on the tower, is that if you fighting someone and another person beging combat with an offensive spell or area spell you will automatically try to hit them one time. Not a bug its got to do with the way the spells are coded so that an off or offensive spell the other player actualy murders the caster to begin the actual combat.
