..I do agree with you that the dirt kicking was what probably got him killed, but he was faerie fired by Rendak so he couldn't get to "cover". Also I wonder why he doesn't use "k ;bearcharge " when he knows that Fuath likes to rescue quite often. Oh yeah, I didn't see the post as disparaging towards Fuath, but rather that he was angry at himself for dying. I guess different people see different things though.
