Along the Eastern Road

populated, and is silent save for the occasional small bird or mouse.
The road is fairly dusty here, and the intermittent breeze kicks up
clouds to obscure the road. Here and there you pass travellers
heading to Galadon, and the occasional caravan laden with goods to be
shipped from the ports of New Thalos. The merchants and travellers
seem to pass you by with barely a glance. The air here is dry and
searing, due to the proximity of the Sands of Sorrow just to
the south of the road. The road continues to the east and west,
stretching to the horizon. At the edge of your vision, you think you
can make out a bridge leading to the gate of New Thalos to the east.
