grand hall. Lining the walls each in its own alcove is a statue. All are
wearing highly adorned armor and bear crowns upon their heads. Above
each alcove is carved the name and great deed of each king. Many of the
dwarven statues have been broken and defaced and torn from their alcoves,
sitting in their place are mangled corpses that were once dwarves. Black
smoke streaks cover the walls and ceiling, dimming the bright white and
silver of the floors and ceiling. A blood covered door leads south and a
white portal atop a small set of steps leads north.
