Heh. Hunted by Barczak for Honor requirements, or hunted by a fleet of ragers for using magic. You make the balance. =P

> 2) Wield a weapon. Even if you didn't have one on you for some reason, you grabbed his wavedancer, and he's vuln_drowning. The shield is cute, but parry and offense will more than make up for the shield. You can play defense all day, but if you want to leave, you'll need to kill him.

Yeah, next time I'll buy a brain, honest.

> 3) Follow up on that fiend. He's a duergar.... it should keep him busy for a bit, though if he's smart, he didn't attack a part without a way to counter the fiend.

It's hard to tell time.. but the damned bastard kept fleeing. He took out the fiend piece by piece, and avoided me any time I came near him.

> 4) Hit his dex. You tried heavy heart once, but didn't land it. It lasts a good bit, and will really slow his dodging unless his gear counters it. It looked like he was using dualed daggers, so no shield block, and crappy parrying. Kill his dodge, and you'll hit him an awful lot.

Twice. Then tried other things.

> 5) Find out where staves and shields are that give you protective effects like aura and shield.

See flying potions.

> 6) Dome of Illusion. Powerful. Ditto for Life's Tomb, especially if he wants to play with healing potions.

Tried tomb and it didn't get off. Should have got dome, but the lag sucks on it. Had I been able to sleep him, I would have hit him with everything. =P

> 7) Don't stop and talk to clueless groupmates that cannot possibly help you. There were three of you... the Second will explain things to The Third Groupmate. Use that time to get off some extra songs.

Yeah, I was slow. I said as much. First time I (as a player) have been in a forceduel.
