Flying potions. It's the only thing that matters in that fight. You fly, he's dead. Ragers won't bother you unless you run around quaffing the potions in front of them. They can't locate, so have no idea you're carrying potions, they have few hero thieves, so odds are a thief won't see it in your inv. Keep em in a sack, so even that won't matter. But you MUST, must, always keep a few on you. A well equipped thief can kill anything... anything... that isn't flying. I think I had about 5 deaths to a single foe... one was to a thief who jacked me, my fly left, and he killed me. I never got to enter a single command. FLY, my pretty one, fly!
