Just a thought:
Drinks with Evil. says: I'm beaten silly and my brain hurts!
Just come up with different phrases for hp and mana, use 'and' if the % is similar and..'but' if they're not.
Drinks with Evil. says: I'm beaten silly but fully alert.
Drinks with Evil. says: I'm barely scratched but my brain hurts.
It's true though, the report command as it stands, and probably the half-ass examples above, certainly puts the brakes on roleplaying.

On the other hand, you could have a 'gtr' which did a group tell of your condition.
Of course, I'd rather have 'tnl' instead of total experience in the group command so I don't have to endure people asking about it.
