I hope you were not about to invoke the "c" word as an Imperial Blade. With no one looking, and no direct orders, you should be busy bullying the weak, finding like-minded folk to form roving gangs with, and/or kissing up to people that can move you up the ranks in time.
Leave the "c" (and its cousin "h") out of any thinking you were doing. Of course, if your War Master is nearby, feel free to spout whatever you think he wants to hear. But do not lose touch with your Inner Bastard.
