Yes. Denting someone's gear sucks. It's an annoyance. An irritation. It's the kind of thing that pisses the other player off. No one is disagreeing with you there.
And, you know? I can't tell you how to play the game. You think it's valid to suicide yourself while denting as much as you can of the other guy's gear? You'll take pride in that? You'll post it here on the forum bragging about it (like the guy who shattered an amulet)? Fine.
And tell you what: if Zorszaul *lets* you get away with your two-round denting manuever that you can not initiate combat with... or, for that matter, if he allows you to keep your con long enough to do it again after you've pulled that stunt once, to be honest, I'll blame him and not your "tactics" for his gear's loss.
