How many times have paladins, the most noble of warriors gang banged evils while evils are trying to to do nothing but reequip? How many ragers pass up the opportunity kill a naked mage or anyone else for that matter who they consider an enemy? By thirsting you show the desire to take aggressive action. You are faced with imperials (imperial mages at that, i bet you arent even oathed why wouldnt they kill you) and a bard who has shown time and time again all she really cares about is racking up more kills. If you wanted to live, the you should not have tried to defend. If you wanted to keep the head, then attempt to fight and dont be surprised if you die. If you had stayed at the destructor you would have been safe from their more deadly songs/spells anyway.
