Like quinthen said dont always thirst but I think thats this was alright in this situation.
You have to choose your fight, dont fight the fox, it will tank best of the three. Take out lelana as she will be the least protected and you should be able to bearcharge her and stop the singing.
If you can, when fighting monstae next, dirt the fox so it cant redirect onto you, if it does flee and return and try again. Also, I do not know what you did previously so i dont know if you could snare or not but you can use them defensively as well as offensively.
