Fienn, I'm not sure I've ever met anyone who had higher roleplaying standards than I have. One thing I've learned, however, that a good many people I've thought were complete idiots at roleplaying, had a reason to do what they did, and turned out to be rather good at it. Is that the case with this guy? I doubt it. Using the word 'macking' seems to have set you off, and I don't like it myself. However, we don't all go around theeing, and thouing, we speak English on the MUD. It's slang, sure, but it's english. The common tongue. Is it any worse than the standard rager prototype 'I kin be usin me axes to smash yer head!' Not to me. I truly understand what bothers you about it.. but think about it a little, it's not as horrible as you think. And my original point still stands, which is he owes you no explanation. And if you are honest with yourself, isn't that what started your rant in the first place?
