1) Ingvar was Sphere Purity. He was inducted at a time when Scarabaeus was taking a break from CF. Thus, he ended up marrying Cyradia's religion to his chosen Sphere, but I'd still say he followed her tenets, and judging by the fact that he lasted 500 hours without becoming a crispy cinder at the foot of Cyradia's altar, I don't think she shares your opinion that Ingvar was ubersucky.

2) He was the Voice, not the Flame. Preaching was much of his business. And again, Ingvar didn't avoid conflict with those who were his enemies. Could he kill them en masse? Hardly. But he picked his spots, and tried. (Cyradia or Scarabaeus could have titled me with a bunch of adjectives. One of them picked "Unyielding", which doesn't fit with your claim that Ingvar spend his whole life in hiding, begging for peace.)

3) Oddly, you were replying to a post that had nothing to do with roleplaying. Sladin was calling someone else "Newbie" and mocking their tactics. He was also giving advice (circle) that was rather silly. You decided to take your little cheap shot at Ingvar's role then, though I can't tell what that has to do with anything.

4) Regarding your little postscript: Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're saying "I'm allowed to be blunt. You aren't." I suppose I could construct all of my posts so they were happy and full of sunshine so you would love me more. However, "Not everything which makes us feel better is good for us." I speak my mind here. Sometimes, there are people (Arolin, etc.) who I am not fond of. There are plenty of other people who I am rather fond of. But I work at keeping my advice sound and consistent, and I've always stuck up for newbies, excepting the ones who get a little big for their britches. (Example: Grist, and his several deleted posts about how so-and-so sucked as a Battlerager.) I assure you, if Sladin had phrased his post "Would circle stab have been better? (n/t)", my reply would have been a lot more positive and shiny. But he's willing to criticize, and so am I. The phrase "called down the thunder" comes to mind.

I've been doing this for a long time, even when my opinions diverge from what is popular or accepted. It would be easier to just join the cool rebel disaffected "We hate CF, and the players all suck, but we play anyway" crowd, but I can't say I understand their viewpoint. Frankly Feirshay, considering the amount of baseless, negative crap you spew here (remembering that I've deleted a lot of the worst of it), I'm not upset that you don't like me. I'll wear it like a fucking badge.

> The character was consistently roleplayed the same, which means a lot. He was deep and thoughtful in regards to his role. Generally, an all around good Sacer scarabite. However I think you made a poor choice when it came to level 10 and you had to choose a sphere. Ingvar was definitely not a Cyraida follower (though you obviously did something worthy of a tattoo). The general population sees Onyx scarabs as 'kill now, preach later'. You defied that precept. Whether it was by inducing an incredible new outlook on destruction through subterfuge and deception and typically avoiding pk situations, I am unsure. I still find Ingvar to be weak in a pk/Cyradia sense, but quite solid in a roleplay stance that does not fit my ideals of the religion Ingvar followed.
