it can still work, cause wall of thorns makes it harder to leave the area doesn't stop you from doing stuff like snare (text):

In Reply to: Re: Overpowered is not an issue with these. You say they are unstopable, but Bard *TigerClaw* Shaman *WorldBind* Its as simple as that (text) posted by Same person on November 22, 2000 at 09:19:56:

Yes you have points but still mine stand, when you flee you have to re-enter the room that your enemy is in giving them another chance to do whatever it is to you. It works out either way, depends on who is quickest to the draw. You just have to know what to do and when to do it. Ive seen groups of 5 people set to PK fall to elite groups of 2 just because they complimented eachother.
Forinstance:
Bard and Warrior is an awsome pair, first you have the warrior depending on what race and weapon special it could be a tanking or destroying machine. Where the bard will keep the warrior healed and up resistance and hitting power while also doing damage.
It also depends on if your opposing group is ready, in some of my groups, all three have been totally killed by one assassin, one warrior just alone because we were not ready. But hell no one is perfect.

My rant
