Well I summoned the guy about 5 times. And I summon people when I want to talk to them. Hell, I'm an anti-paladin, therefore I'm rude. Every time he just ran off. So I figured "Alright, must not be an oath if he's just going to run from me." and so I attacked. He got away, we had a little talk, I thought it was going to be cool, then big dipshit Vonaxim had to go and do that.
Oh well, I guess some things just aren't meant to be.
