If you are travelling with someone..
You have to trust them. It is as simple as that. You either trust them or you dont. If ever you have doubts about those you are travelling with then you dont trust group. Maybe once you have travelled with them a little longer then you trust group.
BUT it should be something that the player controls.
It is your character and only you can roleplay him/her the way they should be played. Not fully trusting someone when it is in your roleplay to be a trusting sod is just stupid.
