This is the point at which you...*gasp* Walk away. Or even word if you'd prefer. Or better yet, since you're the maran/confronting evil type, you attack him. Or if you're feeling he won't sleep you (he never should have) commune sanctuary (which, as an aside, you should have had up already.) Standing around watching him try to sleep you time after time is not the wisest thing to do. Hell, had he had half a clue, you'd probably have died.
