1. This was not a mindless slaughter. We didn't even nail the kill on the drow.
2. I talked to you about it in character, but it was not just two gnomes.
2a. Joeter was there, as well.
2b. Joeter, the excellently-roleplayed (by your standards, I'm sure) Master-as-Skarab If any paladin sees any chance to drive it to him, I wouldn't blame them for taking it (unless there was a lightwalker in the way).
2c. The paladins did not raid/intrude. They whacked Joeter, and when he ran, they left the gnomes alone (until they were attacked by the "neutral" gnomes immediately following Mhih's log at the village).
3. You try playing a Maran Paladin. When you see neutrals that attack you out of nowhere (a la most of the masters), without a word (they probably chose neutral just to avoid ill effects of evil_align and went ahead to play it "evil"), and then complain when you retaliate, or evils that don't act evil at all and earn their align choice, or good_aligns who act more vile than the shadowrunners, who you still can't touch because they're "good aligned" - at least five times every login I wish I had a paladin supp that allowed me to change the alignment of someone.
We could all sit here like that dhernoth invoker guy and take potshots at the other side and what terrible roleplayers they are, but the truth is, everyone is doing the best they can, and you can't really make a realistic assessment from the "other side."
4. Didn't we already go over this in game? It wasn't resolved adequately for you?
