A brightly-dressed man with a broad smile is here talking.

Inside the Bahiyaa Gate
This broad, arched gate is tiled with mosaics of the Paths of Heaven and
the Kingdoms of the World. Set into a recess above the gate's arch a
statue of the first Sultan of Hamsah Mu'tazz holds a gilded sword and a
fallen lamia. Guards march along the causeway to either side of the
Gate, watching the rugged wilderness to the west and the swelling crowds
in the streets around you. To the north the outer walls of the Sultan's
palace rise up at an angle away from the street, just beyond the gate tower.
To the southwest the spires and domes of the Great Temple soar above the
brick and stone buildings cluttered around its base.
