Well I thought I answered this elsewhere in these posts but I'll ellaborate. I totally didn't expect to leave the whitecloak camp alive, whether due to the whitecloaks or one of the four or five masters in range and roaming around. Then you deal with basic rager problems of do I have enough food and water to make it out of here. Granted 'almost' all masters never return or leave a thing for me if I fall. Granted they have until recently always in the past sacrificed my felar only gear. (Recently they give it to creatures.) But the simple fact was I expected to die.. and I wasn't going to leave his gear on his corpse to be picked back up or keep it so that it could be picked up off of my corpse. So..... I sac'd it. Like Nivek has said, it's just gear.... I generally wear the basics...nothing super awesome or sought after because gear is gear, I'm a rager and I'm not suppose'ta be worried about looking pretty... I'm suppose'ta be focused on the war. Most villagers know, as when Makere fell in one raid that I said I don't want anything, all I wanted was the trophy from my kill. But I destroyed her corpse so.... and everyone else kept her goodies while I busied myself with sac'ing wands, fillets, rods, etc. As for being an asshole, I don't think that if someone sac's all my stuff or whatever, that that makes them an asshole in game or in RL. Though I do think 'in game' is what matters. In game I am their enemy.... I don't expect quarter and they shouldn't either. We're at war after all... In all honesty in RL I've often felt sorry for those I've killed or I've seen get killed, because I 'hope' they're not losing heart and contemplating quitting altogether. In game none of that matters because as far as Hyshrawr is concerned Thera is the world and he and everyone else are 'living' life. What will be will be...
