You were scanning and looking in all directions, except here (which happened to be the most crucial point)

The middle of the tree
This is a very ancient path inside the tree. You feel as if holier and
older souls rest here often. You feel as if you are trespassing due to the
holiness, you might want to turn back unless you want to feel the wrath
of those greater powers who walk this path. Going east will lead you
deeper into the sacrosanct part of this tree.
I see no w here.
Nothing special there.
Nothing special there.
Nothing special there.
You scan east.
The gathering circle
A round room, filled with holiness. It's almost as if Odin, Thor and Tyr
might come in at any second. On the floor you see a circle of stones as if a
social gathering of greater importance is about to occur. Now you are certain
of the holiness of this room. What would happen if a God came by and saw you
were trespassing? And unfortunately turning back is now a bit too late.
