I'm not sure I follow that line of reasoning...:

When you lag up, you stop receiving input from the mud. Thus, you don't know what your situation is while it may in fact be changing on the other end. So, your logic says, the best thing to do is spam in 10 rounds worth of self-lag, without knowing what your situation is going to be when those commands start going through?

You made two mistakes in this log... it's obvious that your skills/powers were sufficient to thoroughly beat the people who were trying to kill you, despite bad timing... it worked out for you, but if you look past the "Yay, it's my lucky day" aspect of it, you can learn a couple of things.

1) When you lag out, don't spam in commands. If you're lagged out, the mud isn't going to magically receive your spam until AFTER you unlag, at which point you might want to be fleeing or doing something else.

2) Before you lagged up, you were typing in "bash" every round. Never ever ever ever do this. This is the #1 cause of death among semi-new players, and even among some experienced players who get carried away in the heat of a tense fight. You typed "bash" three times before you even unlagged from your first bash. What if the dude disarmed you in between bash #1 and bash #2? Do you still want to be bashing him for 4+ more rounds while he picks up your weapon and starts beating on you?
