a) Did you manacle him? I can count on one hand the number of times Arbiters remembered to manacle me. Unless he's got some ridiculous +dex gear, it helps, a lot.

b) Magic missile just isn't worth it. Don't cast on a berserker unless landing the spell will fundamentally alter the outcome of the fight. Plague would've been a better choice.

c) You cast magic missile right as a guard died, causing him to redirect to you before he'd cut through your second guard. It didn't have to be that way.

d) Looks like he's wielding nightmare blades. Disarm.

e) Tell that invoker to shield YOU, not your short-lived guard, next time.
