If you've ever seen Zorszaul fight, you know that he could easily escape your precarious trap. You see, where Val was taking mangles, Z would be taking hits/grazes and such. Zors' saves would also allow him to use a certain phylac to raise him zombies to him, which in turn would be your death(s). Add in a few other special phylacteries, and the Sylvan Death Squad is running straight to the Grove.
