Is it productive to the game? Oftentimes,
yes. Was your character concept a neat one?
I think it was looking sort of interesting.
powers like Arbiters' "wanted flag," there's
very little harm anyone can do to another
character without them putting up a fight, or
at least having some chance at avoiding it.
That's what the problem was with this
scenario. It would have been fine to have
decided to, say, attack every fellow arbiter
you could. Or slay every guard in the city.
But placing a wanted flag on people basically
amounts to abusing the fact that Arbiters can
flag people without retribution. And that's
why it gets you denied when you do it.
to make an impression, and wanting to carve
out a dramatic role for your character...that
is fine, in my opinion. But what you're
effectively doing is screwing over other
peoples' characters in the process, without
them getting a chance to retaliate. And that
is why it doesn't get my stamp of approval
(not that that's necessarily anything you
should be striving for).
if Jaemaen lost his flag because he prayed to
Bria about it? If so, that be bull.
