You're lucky as hell they didn't put a wall in dwarf (their mistake), as that'd have made this even uglier. Running north in Osendrelle is a bad idea. Stick to the roads, where lag on walking is at a minimum, and windwalk isn't a factor. > Second, stopping to fight wasn't going to accomplish anything in that situation.... > Here's what I'd do..... > Run out into Thalos ruins, to the large crossroads, like you did... run west as quickly as possible, fleeing if the eagle manages to attack. Get to Galadon, and go into the sewers ASAP.... Here, you have two choices. You're a master, so you can go to the Tower... but that might not be safe if there's Ragers and such about who can break in easily to get you while you're insected. Or the second choice... riskier but more productive if you really know what you're doing... go down into the sewers (no more flyto), and then down into the Underdark (no more gate from Dharlome). You should be able avoid them down here, given the headstart you'd have, just running around, if they actually chase you down into the Underdark. > Once insect expires, make a beeline to the clouds or Blingdenstone, and teleport. Good strategy, the only thing I would disagree with is the part about waiting for insect swarm to expire.
Why wait when you can cancel your frostshield and then cast conglaciation and let the cold kill the insects.
