Oddly enough, with the splitting of the party, my night did not end there, (apparently according to dates =) ) but continued in the Shadowy Corner of the Inn. This would be the beginning of a lot of troubles between the Masters and myself, within the deep rooted secrets that only Masters can keep so well. The discussion between the elf Indigo and myself is joined in a bit of progress.

Indigo says 'More than four though.'

Tharena nods thoughtfully, saying 'They just appeared?'

Indigo says 'And when I asked the others "shall I escort them out of the
tower?" They said... "I wouldn't. It isn't wise to slay the messengers of Ureaus. (or something like that)" I'll ask his name when I see Kiersa or Guerric. That's when I said What!!! And they filled me in a little.'

Tharena raises an eyebrow at the notion.

Indigo says 'I now think that they didn't tell me all... But I learned enough...'

Tharena says 'Share, please.. Your Moridin has been hunting me for getting too close to the truth. If I'm going to die, I'll die fighting for the light.'

Indigo nods. 'I'll speak with him... And he'll not attack you any more, less he face my wrath...'

[Apparently her wrath was nothing, since I died at least daily to Moridin, if not more]

Tharena says 'Don't endanger yourself.. I'm a big girl.. Tell me what they [the masters] told you, please?'

Indigo says 'I just heard that the snakes brought forth a message that Uraeus
was looking for something... Something ivory...'

Tharena shivers.

Indigo says 'And he asked our help to find it. See my urgency with this? See where I'm getting to?'

Tharena says 'Aye.'

Tharena says 'You're in almost as much danger as I. Tell no one you spoke to me of this. I will tell no one my source..'

Indigo says 'He is a demon from somewhere...', nodding at Tharena's suggestion. 'And the description I got from them matches yours to the letter.'

Tharena says 'But I must tell Eshlina, and Khainin. Immediately.'

Indigo says 'Let me find out the exact name and I'll relay it to you.'

Indigo and Tharena nod in agreement with each other.

Indigo says 'I didn't tell Esh that I was speaking with you as I was unsure if she should be in on this', shaking her head.

Tharena tells Masamuro 'Indigo worded me back.. I'm in the Inn.. but I'm not
adventuring.. I am at too much of a risk.'

Tharena hugs Indigo.

Tharena says 'Eshlina and I are partners.'

Indigo nods, saying 'Okay... Now for the bad news...'

Tharena says 'There's Bad NEWS?'

Indigo nods.

Tharena says 'Shokai give me strength.'

Indigo says 'If the tower decides to take action on this, I must follow. BUT I'll be an informant and pass on ANYTHING I hear.'

Tharena says 'Please..'

Indigo nods, saying 'You have my word...'

Tharena says 'It could be you they lay on that altar..'

Indigo nods.

Tharena hugs Indigo.

Indigo says 'I was thinking of that... As I am ivory skinned...'

Tharena says 'Bad enough I wondered if I would be first. I walk in fear...'

Indigo shakes her head, saying 'Have you ever been married?'

Tharena nods in affirmation to Indigo's question.

Tharena says 'Married.. Aye. To Amblemourne.'

Indigo says 'Then you shouldn't be touched... As I have yet to love...'

Tharena says 'The wedding was never consummated.'

Indigo nods.

Tharena shivers at the thought.

Indigo says 'I'll go and look into this...'

Tharena nods, saying 'I'll tell Esh and Khainin. But I'm going back to Shokai's shrine..'

Indigo says 'Also, for my help in this, I need your help for something else as well...'

Tharena says 'What? What do ye need?'

Indigo says 'You absolutly cannot pass this info on to ANYONE! Not even esh or khainin.'

Tharena nods in agreement.

Indigo says 'Promise me...'

Tharena says 'I do so promise'

Indigo nods, then begins 'We are in the need of 7 orhalicon statues. 7 statues of power that the tower once held.'

Tharena says 'For this?'

Indigo says 'We hold three, Schweigan holds two. We must find the other two. It is imperitve that we do so... As I have a sinking sensation that these statues are a part of this...'

[Note that the answers were there, but never the connections to put them together until far into the future.]

Indigo says 'How long till the eclipse?'

Tharena says '6 days from today..'

Indigo nods.

Indigo says 'That is the day Alodar said we MUST find the statues...'

Tharena says 'I will send others to find the other two, without telling them why.'

Indigo nods.

Indigo says 'If they have any prior knowledge, they will know...'

Tharena says 'Would that give you the power to call this dark man?'

Indigo shivers uncomfortably.

Indigo pauses in thought for a moment, before suddenly saying 'Okay!!! I've got it...'

Tharena nods.

Indigo says 'I think I found the link...'

Indigo says '7 statues of ultimate power... With these, one can have anything
they want...'

Tharena says 'Raising of a God? Raising of a Demon?'

Indigo says 'You asked me if that would give us the power to call this demon of fire and ice... And the answer is yes.'

Tharena says 'Damn.'

Indigo says 'It would...'

Tharena tells Eshlina 'We need to talk. Somewhere safe.'

Indigo says 'Okay... I'll follow the tower will all my might...'

Eshlina tells Tharena '?'

Indigo says 'I've noticed a darkness creeping into the tower...'

Eshlina tells Tharena 'what?'

Tharena says 'The tower has always been darker rather than light.'

Indigo says 'It came in slowly, over many generations... And has spread very
deep into it...'

Tharena tells Eshlina 'About this darkness.. I have new information that will frost your toes..'

Eshlina tells Tharena 'oh oh :P'

Indigo says 'With the passing of one dark leader... An even darker one takes
his place... And I've been given harsh reaction from the darker ones...'

[Eshlina camoes, though the talk continues]

Tharena tells someone 'We were right not to talk to the masters..'

Narois tells Tharena 'So how are things?'

Indigo says 'These statues may be needed to call upon him... And if that is so. I'll stand in the way of this evil ploy...'

Tharena tells Narois 'Intriguing, to say the least.'

Indigo says 'I love magic with all my heart... But when it is used to cause harm, to destroy, and to spread evil... It must be stopped...'

Tharena says 'But you love the light as well.'

Indigo says 'I love my tower... My magic... My will... That's it...'

Tharena says 'By Shokai's light, we will stop this..'

Indigo nods, saying 'I'll see to it that magic is not used for unneccesary harm...'

Someone tells Tharena 'Indigo mentioned that the masters had witnessed something'

Tharena tells someone 'Hmm.. I've just heard all about it.'

Someone tells Tharena 'and she said that the evil masters were among the first to note it...'

Indigo says 'We must keep each other posted. Send me a scroll with any new info that comes up and I'll do the same to you...'

Tharena nods, saying 'Aye.. I promise.'

Indigo says 'Till we meet again...'

Someone tells Tharena 'She would not give me details. Perhaps you could send me a missive? I am highly busy to speak I fear...'

Tharena says 'Aye.. Take care.'

[Indigo leaves, and Tharena proceeds to her hide-out/co-ordination station]

Someone tells Tharena 'You truly are a hard working scribe. Without you I fear we would be lost.'

Tharena tells someone '*chuckle*'

Someone tells Tharena 'I have always loved communication for the good it does, and you are an example of how this can work'

And communicate I did, perhaps overmuch, since it is rumored that somewhere in the heavens I was called the 'Long Winded'. The scrolls sent to the whole of Thera, and to the internal workings of the Quest of the Light seem to be long lost and forgotten, though their workings all remain within these tales. After an even of long penning, I did finally sleep, wondering where the morrow would take me yet. But it turned little up, as Eshlina spent the day working hard to reach the highest plateau of her guild, and I spoke with Khainin about becoming a Knight, and tried to speak with the Lord Shokai, though he was on quite an out of body vacation. With no clues as to where to go next, I waited for one of the senior Masters or Schweigan to appear, that they might have a direction I could follow. But the day after brought even more confusing things to bear.
