What was he supposed to do? Shield bash? Maybe he could have pranced around with staves from elemental canyon(paladins can't use wands or staves mind you)brandishing till his hearts content. Or I know, he could've yelled profanities in hopes that Gharik's player would get disgusted and quit or delete.

YOU USE WHAT YOU GOT, DON'T PUT SOMEBODY DOWN BECAUSE THEY'RE SMART ENOUGH TO USE WHAT WORKS.

From now on, necromancers can't use sleep, and thieves can't use steal, and assassins can't use assassinate, and conjurers can't summon elementals or send nightgaunts because that stuff works, and we can't have that.

So you'll have to excuse Everntien. He wanted to see a log on the log board of a fight that he was involved in. He doesn't know any better.
