A grey-cloaked Maran says 'there is one name though, that I have heard mentioned that bothers me.. does the name Zurcon, mean much to you?'
Tharena says 'Uraeus, or Zurcon?'
A grey-cloaked Maran nods.
Tharena nods at A grey-cloaked Maran, saying 'It scares me too.'
A grey-cloaked Maran says 'as well it should'
Tharena says 'I know enough to be wisely frightened. Not that it would stop me from standing against him..'
A grey-cloaked Maran says 'that name alone uttered with dark prophicies makes even me quake'
Tharena says 'I have tried to keep that information limited... I would not want to scare innocents.'
A grey-cloaked Maran nods, saying 'nor excite dark ones'
Tharena says 'Oh, they're already excited. And Guerric is sure the name of whomever the being of lightning is, is Uraeus.'

Tharena shivers, saying 'I would *love* to know on that one as soon as possible..', sighing sadly. 'Anyhow.. The statues?'
A grey-cloaked Maran nods, saying 'aye...they seem to be a big piece to this puzzle'
Tharena says 'There are seven Orihalcon statues.. Ivory, and carved in the form of maidens, in flowing gowns.'

Tharena says 'Separate, they are beautiful figurines. Together, they are a powerful magical thing.'

Tharena says 'I almost wonder that you're listening..'

Tharena says 'All that pacing back and forth.'

Tharena nods, saying 'Okay... It worried me.' Tharena rubs her temples, thinking. 'They are the key to a sort of dimentional portal..'

Tharena says 'That summon a being, known as an Evangion.'

Tharena raises her eyebrow at the notion.

Tharena says 'Points?'
A grey-cloaked Maran says 'when a dark one is summoned, seven points must be used to call it forth'
Tharena says 'The statues must all be together on the altar.'

Tharena nods. 'This being that is summoned is not dark. It is not light either.'

Tharena says 'But.. it is not dark..'
A grey-cloaked Maran says 'the ritual is dark'
Tharena says 'But the statues can be used for either..'
A grey-cloaked Maran says 'the summoning, I suppose, if not the being it calls forth'
Tharena says 'It depends on what is done with the Evangion.'

Tharena says 'The Evangion grants a single wish, then returns to it's home.'
A grey-cloaked Maran sits down and thinks deeply.
Tharena says 'That is simply it. I don't know if the statues disappear, or can be reused immediately.'

Tharena says 'I do know that they can be used at any time, but are most powerful on the eclipse. Let me check my scribbles to see if I forgot anything..' Tharena pulls out a scroll case, and flips through her notes. 'The statues... they all must be together.. there is no replacement for any of them... Although, it doesn't rule out the thought of the sacrifice of lives.'

Tharena says 'Schweigan has two. Alodar and the Masters... three at last word..'
A grey-cloaked Maran nods.
Tharena says 'But I cannot get information anymore. I will assume that they were given information to find them from their demon friend.. And I think it's safer to assume they have the rest, instead of to doubt.'
A grey-cloaked Maran says 'it would seem quite important, then, that those held by the Light...are kept by the Light'
Tharena says 'Although, if someone offered me information on the whereabouts of any missing, I'd be there in a second.'

Tharena says 'It's quiet.', nodding.

Tharena sniffs sadly, then says 'Darnit. Drat and tarnation.' Tharena pokes Sune Rai in the ribs. 'Your marans disappear too easily.'

Rayven tells Tharena 'As of now I have not collected any statues, though they are to be used for knowledge...contrary to everyone's belief THEY WILL NOT BE USED FOR EVIL PURPOSES!'

Tharena chuckles politely. 'Did you know that evil is not supposed to be allowed to enter this room?'
Rayven says 'The Evil Masters and I have the same disagreements I have with all Dark fiends.'
Tharena raises her eyebrow at the notion. 'Oh really?'

A faint smile crosses her lips, but you dare not disturb her.
For she is reading a old, leather-bound book.

Rayven is in perfect health.

Rayven says 'Aye, though we share the same ideals, the quest fot knowledge,
they are still evil. 'And as a follower of Lord Shokai I have vowed to protect Light from evil.'
Tharena says 'If you hold that ceremony, I will stop you. That ceremony is a crime against the light.'
Rayven says 'Hold your horses here...tell me of the ceremony. tell me of what you believe is to occur'
Tharena says 'The statues are to be brought together.. all seven. They are to be set in a certain way. What way I know not.. it has been of no consequence to me.'
Rayven says 'I have never agreed to perform any ceremonies...though everyone
believes I am...well you and a few other misinformed people.'
Tharena says 'But the seven statues represent seven points.. You told Finve you would be performing the ceremony. Finve told me.'
Rayven says 'No, he told me I was.'
Tharena raises her eyebrow at the notion.
Someone (Graatch, again) tells Tharena 'you will correct your error soon, I trust?'
Tharena says 'Oh really?'
Tharena tells someone (Graatch) 'I have pulled the original scroll, and the slander will be stopped.'
Someone (Graatch) tells Tharena 'I thank you'
Rayven says 'Yes. Finve never asked me outright what I would do with the
statues if I got the,.'
Tharena says 'Finve has no reason to lie to me.. so how did Finve know that?'
Rayven says 'And as of now I have ZERO statues.'
Tharena says 'You think I would expect you to carry them around?'
Rayven says 'Finve must have been confused as to what I said.'
Tharena says 'You must think me mad. Do you know how many have been found?'
Rayven says 'You know what I think? I think you, Finve, and whoever else wants to bug me....I think you should all stop accusing me of things I have not done, or said I would do.'
Rayven says '4 have been found I believe...2 by Jarlandra and 2 by Alodar.'
Tharena says 'Five. Three by Alodar'
Rayven says '*nod* That's right, he found the one he said he knew where it was, but had not yet picked up.'
Tharena says 'Do you know why the Eclipse is when Alodar wants to
hold this?'
Rayven says 'Please repeat...I did not understood what you said.'
Tharena says 'Why does Alodar want to hold this ceremony at the Eclipse?'
Rayven shrugs helplessly.
Tharena nods. 'As I was saying.. The statues represent seven points.'
Rayven says 'I didn't know where it was to be performed, or who was to perform it. I was asked by my leader to request the statues from the Paladin, I did, he refused, and I left it at that.'
Tharena says 'I know where it's to be held.. I know when. And I know that those seven points represents the summoning of a demon.', blinking.
Rayven says 'yes?'
Tharena says 'I'm glad to see you're listening.'
Rayven tells Tharena 'OOC- frozen computer.'
Tharena tells Rayven 'Okie.'
Tharena says 'As I said, the statues, in those seven points, represent a demon summoning.'
Rayven says 'Where do you get all your information may I ask?'
Tharena sighs heavily and rubs her temples.
Rayven says 'You're a trouper correct?'
Tharena says 'I retired from Troupe about 3 or 4 elven days ago.'
Rayven says 'Why's that?'
Tharena says 'My goals and Troupe's are different. In the nearly 800 years of my life, I think I'm entitled to realizing I'm not who I thought.'
Rayven nods. 'Do you understand that as a follower of Shokai I will not do
anything to promote evil?'
Tharena says 'Then you cannot participate in that ceremony.'
Rayven sighs.
Tharena says 'Shokai's Marans told me of such information.'
Rayven says 'Listen, I have never agreed to participate in any cerimony.'
Tharena says 'I'm telling you that you cannot.'
Rayven chuckles politely.
Tharena says 'Unless you wish to follow magic more than the light, as Indigo has.'
Rayven says 'Well if it is an evil ceremony I will not be involved, but NOT
because Tharena tells me I cannot.'
Tharena says 'I tell you that you cannot for the same reason that you will not.'
Rayven says 'Then you have nothing to worry about. And I would enjoy not being called evil, or grey, or what have you.'
Tharena says 'I would enjoy not having a reason to question you. I don't like the thought of Darsylon's children falling from the light.'
Rayven says 'Well, I seek milord Shokai's mark...which means I will protect the Light...and therefore will not do anything to jeopordize it.'
Rayven says 'ok?'
Tharena says 'Then protect the light... tell Alodar he cannot perform this ritual. He places the whole of Thera in danger.'
Rayven says 'And if it's not...you can doubt me for as long as you wish..I
cannot control you any more than I can control him.'
Tharena says 'And that is an evil larger than any of us. You would summon a demon, then?'
Rayven utters the words, 'oculowai gjwwai'.
Rayven attempts to summon a demon.
A demon arrives from the underworld!
The fiery demon wiggles its bottom.
Tharena says 'Magic may look cute, but what you can do with it will kill you.'
Rayven says 'I just did.'
Tharena smirks.
Rayven says 'Is he evil? I doubt it.'
[consider the demon and:]
The fiery demon looks like an easy kill.
The fiery demon grins evilly at you.
Tharena says 'The demon is evil.'
The fiery demon slowly fades away.
Tharena taps her foot impatiently, and nods as the demon dissipates. 'You risk much more with this summoning, on a day where it is the strongest.'
Rayven says 'SO stop Alodar.'
Tharena says 'Mind ye, I wouldn't want the Demi-god of Annihilation any day..'
Rayven says 'and Mordrin, and maelzebul, and....well just about all the Masters who are evil.'
Tharena says 'Since he's supposed to be locked up in someone's pocket in an ivory box. Just about all of them are! That's the problem.'
Rayven says 'Aye it is.'
Tharena says 'There should be two cabals for magic.'
Rayven says 'I have assisted every Lightwalking Master as much as possible to help equalize the force.'
Tharena says 'One for the arts of the light, and one for naught.'
Rayven says 'I have gained ranks as quickly as possible to ensure a high
ranking Lightwalker in the Tower.'
Tharena nods.
Rayven says 'I have encouraged young Lightwalkers to join the Tower....'
Tharena says 'And many young ones have..'
Rayven says 'The Master Tower is not aways predominantly evil...just right now'
Tharena says 'Believe me, I've talked to many in the past.... few elven hours..'
Tharena says 'Indigo *has* turned from the light.'
Tharena says 'The rest of that scroll had it's desired response. And the scroll has been withdrawn'
Rayven says 'Your scrolls are irritating the Master Tower.'
Tharena says 'Although I'm sure Ridell wouldn't be pleased if he knew. The Master Tower is predominently Evil. If they're irritated, I'm happy.'
Rayven says 'Yes it is, right now, but it wil change.'
Tharena says 'To the lightwalkers, I send my apology.'
Rayven says 'you're slandering me.'
Tharena says 'I am sorry for slandering you.. But, it did get the response I was looking for. You're standing here, talking to me. That is what all I had wished.'
Rayven nods.
Tharena says 'Well.. that and to get the backs of the Darkwalkers
up. Alodar will be a little more careful, I believe.'
Rayven says 'Why's that?'
Someone humbly kneels.
Serway fades into existence.

Serway tells Tharena 'Many of us miss the old you m'lady. I was thinking much about you while I was gone.'
Rayven says 'Do me a favor.'
Tharena considers the question.
Tharena tells Serway '*chuckle* We miss you too.'
Tharena raises her eyebrow at Rayven.
Rayven says 'Do not put words in my mouth, do not tell people that I say, or
believe something...'
Tharena says 'I heard you the first time..'
Rayven says 'I am more than capable oftelling people my views. I do not want to hear from Alodar that someone said that I was going to kill him or something.'
Tharena says 'Do me a favor.. Don't follow Alodar blindly, as you did.'
Rayven says 'I knew the Paladin had more than half a brain. Schweigan wouldn't give me the statues when I said Alodar asked for them.'
Tharena says 'He also had another mage, a ranger, and a bardess shouting in his ear.'
Rayven says 'However, if my leader asks me to do something that won't harm
anyone I will.'
Tharena says 'That ceremony will not happen, Rayven, if I can do anything to stop it.'
Rayven says 'I hope so as well if it is as evil as Tharena says.'
Tharena says 'I ask of you to see to the same, for the good of the light, and the good of Thera.'
Rayven says 'However, I must go join Gatolin to gain some experience.'
Tharena says 'You question the information of a Maran?'
Rayven says 'Nice chatting with you.'
Serway bows before Rayven.
Serway says 'Luck m'lady.'
Rayven says 'No, however you have made me sound like an Anti-Paladin and I
don't care for it'
Rayven waves happily.
Tharena nods.

Serway sighs.
Tharena tells Stanhelm 'Kala knows more than I do... I know nothing, really, save they affiliate with Empire.'
Stanhelm tells Tharena '*nod*'
Tharena says 'If Rayven performs that ceremony, she will be stopped.'
Serway says 'Aye.'
Tharena says 'If she cannot be stopped by the conventional methods, she must be killed.'
Serway says 'I would not harm lady Rayven unless her intentions were purely
evil.'
Tharena says 'Rayven knows not what she's doing. She follows orders.'
Serway says 'She is a good woman Tharena, do not give up on the light that
burns within her.'
Tharena says 'I just spent a good elven hour being lectured by her.'
Stanhelm tells Tharena 'Have ye found anything more of the Maidens?'
Serway says 'I am happy you were thinking about me m'lady, but what else is on your mind?'
Tharena tells Stanhelm 'Have ye read your scrolls?'
Tharena says 'How I'm going to get myself out of the trouble I'm about to get into.'

The trouble being her full global announcement of her retirement from Troupe, which would mark her as more of a target, without the umbrella protection. But would get Masters off the Back of Troupe.. and anyone else who was annoyed with Tharena. The Hack and Slash of Masters worked wonderfully. Where Masters would not talk to Tharena before, she spoke with a good 25% of them. Of course, no one in a position of true and knowing power, but such knowledge would never come.
