Well anyways for your second spec, I sugguest hands. It was a one on one fight so you can just stun him after he withers you and quaff at your convince. You can wear plus strenght gear, but I think that is pretty useless. At high ranks a wither can due a wopping -30 str so unless your wearing all strength gear it's pretty much pointless.
