Until you've played a lich, which, by your post, it is clear you haven't, you probably shouldn't make assumptions about what liches are and aren't vulnerable to. As for Zorszaul being a mere bag of bones, um, no. Zorszaul is a being of unholy magic, who has taken pieces of countless souls for use in his unholy rituals. He is a powerful sorceror with many magicks that mortals cannot begin to comprehend. He keeps bits of power bottled up in little things called 'phylacteries' (maybe you've heard of them?) for use when he feels he may need them. In addition, he has knowledge of mystical artifacts that grant him such things as stone-skin (although, if you wanted to bitch about ANYthing, it'd be how does someone without skin get stone-skin? I'd agree with you on that), magical auras, magical shields, mystical barriers, and the list goes on and on. No, I'm not Zorszaul. He's way better than I am.
