The weapon you use to boneshatter has no bearing on the lasting effects. The -str and -dex is the same regardless of the mace you use, be it a shaman's mace or fordurn.

The only difference may be the damage the blow itself causes, as in a DISMEMBERS or a ****DEVASTATES****.

As for whether liches in fact should be more susceptible to boneshattering, I think yes. THat will be in a separate thread.
