I think he is sylvan so better to have done it anyways to prevent cheap chameleon crap. I blinded first, then plagued, because he does decent damage and I knew he'd be overconfident and willing to stay as he'd just gotten done killing me. Then I faerie fogged him. > I would have made a quick trip to the healer in nt, healed up and then ran after Sad. I mean he was still writhing, he at best would have been gushing by the time you caught up to him and hammered him again. You know he must have been low on moves with all the fatiguing so he wouldn't be going far. Something you have no way of knowing is that the healer in New Thalos was *GONE* that day. Just... gone. Not there. I had no money as I'd just died, and only spent enough time to get a sword/shield before going after him again, but I had plenty in the bank, and would've stopped at the healer if he'd *BEEN THERE*. > Always, always blind an assassin again whenever they flee for a bit. They can cure blind so it is absolutely imperative that you blind him. It makes all the difference in the world. If you look, he never fixed the blindness. If he'd yelled my name when I opened fighting either of the 2nd or 3rd times, I would've blinded him, but he never did: Sadrach yells 'Help someone is attacking me!' <275hp 87m 72mv> > But you did well and surely would have had him had your shield not gone down. So really, keep the shield up and lead with a blind again and you would have had him. Don't think about deleting; you have some skills, just need some tweeking. Well, that's the kicker, isn't it? Just keep protective shield up. Too bad I'm a fookin' idiot, and never *ever* notice when it falls. Oh well. I already deleted. Thanks for the advice, though, I'll be sure and incorporate it into my next shaman. *shrug*
You narrow your eyes and glare in Sadrach's direction.
Your fatigue MASSACRES Sadrach!
Sadrach is covered with bleeding wounds.
Sadrach yells 'Help someone is attacking me!'

Sadrach is writhing in agony.
