After a paladin recommended I speak to the dark elf Azaelafage, I met with him at the inn. It turned out to be a good opportunity to play the role as priest... Azaelafage sits down and rests. Azaelafage bows before you. You say 'Greetings Dark Elf.' l azaelafage As you peer a bit more closely at him you see that he is wearing: Azaelafage is using: eq Azaelafage smiles happily. You say 'Yes.' Azaelafage says 'Of?' You say 'I am a priest of the Sphere of Honor.' Azaelafage says 'Ah...' Azaelafage smiles happily. Azaelafage says 'There are some who choose to be honorable.' Azaelafage says 'Yet do not follow the path.' You say 'Very few these days manage anything but fancy talk... very, very few.' Azaelafage says 'Probably.' You say 'They choose to say they are Honorable, but their actions do not show so.' Azaelafage nods. Azaelafage says 'Honor is all about your actions.' Nailis tells you 'care to group?' You say 'There is use in preaching of it as well.' You tell Nailis 'Another time perhaps... Go with Honor.' Azaelafage says 'Truly.' You say 'For how can peaple truly learn of it without some spreading the word.' Azaelafage says 'But, one can only hope it does not fall on deaf ears.' Azaelafage says 'Your word might be different than the next though.' You say 'The great disservice is those who claim to be Honorable yet do not... They are the ones who broke the Castle.' Azaelafage sighs. Azaelafage nods at you in agreement. You say 'Those I hunt, to teach them what they need know.' Azaelafage says 'You hunt the dishonorable?' Eveandra tells you 'care to group?' >emote gets a dangerous light in his eyes. You say 'Yes... and teach Honor with the Blade as well as the tongue.' Azaelafage says 'It must be difficult not knowing who is honorable and who is not.' You tell Eveandra 'Not just now... Honor guide you.' You say 'You can judge only by actions.' You say 'Though some you can be sure of...' Azaelafage says 'Lest you parley with them aforhand.' You say 'Imperials for example.. They have no honor.' Azaelafage says 'True, not a one have I met that had honor' You say 'Their dishonor was so great that it tainted the Knights and broke the Castle.' Azaelafage says 'Though, I must say' You say 'The Knights lost their hope and tried to fight the Empire using Imperial tactics... And so lost the war entirely.' You say 'Parlaying does little, though. To answer your earlier query.' Azaelafage says 'I would not condemn anyone of not being honorable without actually judging them.' You say 'Almost all who walk this Land seem to think they are Honorable... Yet they taint the name with their actions.' You say 'The Empire is condemed.' Azaelafage says 'Each and every Imperial citizen, and followers of dawn equally have the potential to be honorable' Azaelafage says 'Just as those of the Village.' You say 'Citizens are prevented from being honorable by their Bloodoath. There are no exceptions unless they relinquish that Oath.' Azaelafage says 'Bloodoath...' You say 'The Anathema may have honor in a rare instance, but the Oathed can not.' Azaelafage says 'I've had that pushed on me a few times.' Azaelafage grumbles and growls. You wonder what's wrong.... You say 'Villiagers may have Honor, though they twist it into some form of courage.' Azaelafage says 'Typically.' You say 'But there is no group that has real Honor.' Azaelafage says 'Have you read the old stories of Cador and his followers?' You say 'It is individual and very, very rare.' You say 'I know all the tales.' Azaelafage nods. You say 'Let us talk of you though...' Azaelafage says 'There was a fire giant who was honorable yes?' Azaelafage says 'Aye.' You say 'Why do you seek out Shamans and Paladins of the Light?' Azaelafage says 'Paladins have the most potential for being honorable truly.' You shake your head. Azaelafage says 'I had only happened upon him while defending myself.' You say 'All have potential... Paladins have it just as rarely as any other.' > who sphere * Storm * (PK) Ataranen the Order of the White Robe Players found: 3 Azaelafage says 'My point of view is all.' You nod. Azaelafage says 'My story...' You nod. > emote listens intently. Azaelafage says 'I was threatened in town by a warrior of the light who wished me dead because of my race.' Azaelafage says 'I choose to follow the laws, so I told him I'd duel him on whatever terms he decided and out of town.' Azaelafage says 'Upon leaving town, I ran into the Paladin.' Azaelafage says 'The paladin's intent was my destruction, as usual, though not dishonorably.' Azaelafage says 'I asked him to wait and let me duel the Warrior first.' Azaelafage says 'And so after finishing that duel I asked him to meet me here in this inn for the next duel.' Erdiad looks at Azaelafage. Azaelafage says 'And, this is where we had the chance to parlay and speak.' > wher Erdiad closes his eyes with a look of concentration for a moment. Erdiad closes his eyes with a look of concentration for a moment. Azaelafage nods. Erdiad closes his eyes and hums for an instant. Elarien gallantly tips his hat to Erdiad. Erdiad leaves east. You say 'So you claim the path of Honor... That is excellent, and as a Priest I would aid you as I can.' Azaelafage nods. You say 'But your soul is still as black as your flesh.' Azaelafage sighs. Azaelafage says 'Indeed' You say 'So many will hunt you.' Azaelafage says 'Such as Erdiad' > whois erd Trabin tells you 'lo there' > wher Trabin tells you 'would you care to join our merry band?' Azaelafage yells 'Die, Erdiad, you sorcerous dog!' Azaelafage's stab injures Erdiad. Erdiad narrows his eyes and glares in a large bar bouncer's direction. Azaelafage trips Erdiad, sending him to the ground. You tell Trabin 'Not just now... perhaps later... Honor GUide you.' Azaelafage's stab misses Erdiad. A Cozy Corner Azaelafage's stab hits Erdiad. Erdiad narrows his eyes and glares in a large bar bouncer's direction. Elarien glances at Erdiad. > l erdiad Erdiad's wrath DISMEMBERS a large bar bouncer! A kind and noble giant stands in the grass before you. More accurately he stands almost seem hypnotized by them. His head is large and his face rather square. You notice a bit of stubble on his chin, but other than that he seems to groom Himself well. His hair is the color of the afternoon sky, a deep purple that almost blends with his skin. His hide is rough and wrinkled it is obvious that it has taken a beating in its time. Each of his arms hangs at a slight angle from his body, his massive muscles prevent him from pulling them all the way in. defending others of the light and an axe, for the destruction of all that is evil in Thera. On closer inspection you see that: Erdiad is using: Azaelafage trips Erdiad, sending him to the ground. Azaelafage's stab hits Erdiad. Azaelafage's stab hits Erdiad. Erdiad closes his eyes with a look of concentration for a moment. Azaelafage trips Erdiad, sending him to the ground. Azaelafage's stab mauls Erdiad. Azaelafage says 'Why?' Azaelafage yells 'Are you done Erdiad?' You say 'He fights you because your soul is black. That is reason enough for many.' > wher Azaelafage says 'Indeed.' (PK) Ataranen A Cozy Corner You say 'And it is truly not a bad reason...' You smirk. Azaelafage says 'Erdiad would not give one the benefit of doubt.' Azaelafage grumbles and growls. You wonder what's wrong.... You say 'But your Honor will stay my hand against you.' Azaelafage bows deeply. You say 'You do not deserve the benifit of the doubt from him.' You say 'You do from me.' Azaelafage nods. You say 'He is likely a Maran.' You say 'I am a priest of Honor.' Azaelafage says 'Sadly.' Azaelafage nods. You say 'It is not sad.' Azaelafage says 'Sadly that the Maran are so angered.' You say 'You are honorable, but wicked.' Azaelafage's thirst grazes him. Azaelafage says 'That they will be their own downfall' You say 'If you turn your soul to the Light as well as Honor they would no longer hunt you.' Azaelafage says 'Oh?' Azaelafage says 'How would they know if they slew a good Dark elf?' You say 'Your name would become quickly known, to be sure.' Azaelafage says 'That would be the ideal case.' You say 'But there is no Honor in betraying your soul in that way, is there?' You say 'Honor is quite seperate.' Azaelafage says 'Nay, truly it is.' You say 'And it could be said that you betrayed your people... You must think closely on your Honor to make such a decision.' Azaelafage shrugs helplessly. Azaelafage says 'I've already thought.' Azaelafage says 'Just as you've already thought of your role in our sphere.' Azaelafage says 'My path has already been chosen and walked down for a good time now.' Azaelafage says 'I've no lord to seek an audience with though...' Azaelafage frowns. You say 'As a priest, my role encompasses the entire sphere... Which is why I don't hunt you... What is your role within the Sphere?' Azaelafage sits down and thinks deeply. Azaelafage says 'Is there one who follows honor that doesn't support the whole of the sphere?' You say 'That is a different question... Just because one is influenced by the Sphere in their soul, doesn't mean they truly follow the path in all things. Just that Honor is a force that drives them.' You say 'I will still look to your actions, and judge you by them alone even though we share a sphere.' Azaelafage says 'I never imagined honor as having different facets.' Azaelafage sits down and thinks deeply. Azaelafage nods. You say 'And there may be many who follow different sphere that act with try Honor, though I have not found them.' Azaelafage nods. Azaelafage says 'You are correct.' Azaelafage sighs. You say 'There is the Code of Honor, and the Sphere... They are related but do not overlap entirely.' You say 'And it goes beyond Combat.' Azaelafage says 'This I know.' Azaelafage says 'It is respect.' You say 'The Starcrowned can tell no untruth... But they can twist the truth in dishonorable ways.' Azaelafage nods. You say 'But the Honorable must be Honest... which can be different than telling the truth.' Azaelafage sits down and thinks deeply. Azaelafage says 'It can?' You say 'And those who are merely Honest, take within them a fascet of Honor... But they are not truly Honorable unless they take on the whole Code.' Azaelafage nods. You say 'Honesty includes the meaning behind the words... as well as the words themselves. Words can be truthful and deceive... Honesty can never decieve.' Azaelafage says 'Well put.' You say 'And even though I am Honorable in my actions... I hunt evil as well. My first instinct would be to fight you honorably, and I would likely attack your kind on sight.' Azaelafage nods. You say 'But I learned of your believes, and that stays my hand.' Azaelafage says 'As I would expect that.' Azaelafage nods. You say 'As I hope your example of Honor can spread even among black souls.' Azaelafage says 'I would hope' You say 'Though do not think that is not a hard decision... If you were Honorable, but Honor was not your sphere, I would likely still attack you, and fight you Honorably. But your sphere is Honor, so I am your priest as long as you follow the path.' Oubouchette tells you 'hello' > whois oub Azaelafage nods at you in agreement. You tell Oubouchette 'Greetings assassin.' Azaelafage says 'That, I respect.' Oubouchette tells you 'care to group?' Azaelafage bows deeply. You tell Oubouchette 'Not at this time... Perhaps another... In the mean time, be guided by Honor.' You say 'So spread the word, but do not expect quarter from the Maran or others who will attack you because of race or beliefs, merely because you are Honorable. You must face them Honorably and fight them.' Azaelafage says 'I don't' Azaelafage says 'and I will.' You say 'I must depart... Farewell Azaelafage... Honor guide you.' You wave. > s

An old, distinguished server bows to you and offers you some wine.
A very large storm giant stands eyeing the crowd for troubles.
Well kept clothes and armors outfit this Drow warrior. Many hours of
meticulous detail work is done on the borders of each and every piece,
showing him as a noble of one of the Menzoberranzan houses. Silverish
colored hair is intricately woven into two separate braids that wind
around both sides of his head, and then are woven together down his
front, creating an eerie pattern against pitchblack skin and darkly
colored clothing. His glowing red eyes, sensing of heat patterns,
stand out even more, the only non dreary colors on him. His swords
also both taken great care of, are apparently of matching size and
weights, marking him as a master of them.

The warm glow of the fire surrounds the soft chairs and tables in this
corner. Small bookshelves sit against the walls. The strong smell of pipe
