This isn't a simple matter of being evil. It's the epitome of dark magic. The ultimate
perversion of life. She is an elf.. and elder race that most likely condemns the use
of dark magic. In creating a role, why shouldn't this be taken into account. She doesn't
have to spit at his boney feet when he walks into a room, and she doesn't have to try
to kill him at every opportunity... but how would most elves see a lich. Certainly wouldn't
see them as a friend.
> Shermie's role (as I see it) says that while she will walk the light in her decisions, she will not condemn anyone else for not walking the light.
See now you are stereotyping that all lightwalkers have to condemn evil. They don't necessarily..
but remember at that point you are walking the line between good and NEUTRAL. There is a difference.
> Elves in tune with nature? Perhaps most, but Shermie is often in the Inn, she is more of a civilized bard.
Well nature aside, is there a reason why elves don't practice dark magic?
> There is absolutley no reason why Shermie cannot break the mold and play a lightwalker that does not want to impose judgement upon others for their actions, and is willing to accept people (even liches!) for who they are.
She's not breaking the mold. She's not doing anything new or innovative. It's
been done before, and it will be done again. It's my opinion that it's not good
roleplay.
> I applaud Shermie for (intentionally or not) breaking the mold of the cookie cutter lightwalker.
well considering she immediately brought up Istendil's relationship with Ilecytra
it seems to me she's heading toward cookie cutter.
> Well done, fight the conformity, and don't let these people tell you how to roleplay, Shermie.*
Remember Jewel.. Zors is UNDEAD... a follower of Vilhazarog (to my knowledge).. who
has killed countless other lightwalkers... Is this something an elf would call a
friend?

Wilberg wasn't roleplaying shit. This is why he was tossed.
