How does a statue of Pilate mock any religion? (aka, drop this and go make some more mp3s! - listening to 'sylvan' right now) n/t:

> You seem hell-bent (pun intended) on defending this effigy to Pilate. So much so, in fact, that everytime your initial arguement is shown to be spurious, you change your defense.

> 1) First you say it's not part of the hall. I point out that that is irrelevent.

> 2) So you say it's an immortal room and say that the RP rules are relaxed, clearly implying that this is poor RP. Well, I point out that mortals got poofed there so it's hardly a closed imm hideout for whichever imm likes Pontious Pilate enough to have a statue in his honor.

> 3) So now you say it IS good RP, and Jesus Christ and Pilate CAN be part of the game. Should I go roll up a shaman that worships the Holy Trinity and try to convert Thera to christianity? Get real.

> Well, I cannot debate an ever-changing opposition, but I think most would agree that the subject of RL religions should be carefully avoided. Even Scarabaeus went to great lengths to point out while defending Hell(the area) that he had painstakenly taken out all references to christianity. Aside from my opinion on Hell(the area), this strongly implied that references to christianity would be inapropriate for obvious reasons.

> And, back to my original point, why would anyone care if Joe gets upset when someone emotes "humps you", when you don't mind him being offended when you mock, abuse, pervert his RL religion?
