Yes and no.

I remember one incident with my last mortal where I made some comment about "rifling through my pack" and the guy I was talking with got all puffed up and (in a roundabout way) began chastising me for using the word rifle because he thought it was spawned by the weapon (which, incidently, is incorrect).

I bring this up because, for example, the symbol of a cross can have any number of meanings outside of Christianity. Even if you ignored all of human history and started generating symbols at random you'd most likely come up with a cross in your first set of 30 or so. The cross was found in Asia and Africa long before Christ and was used to ward off evil and bring good luck (it was a solar symbol). It was also used by Scandinavians as a symbol of Thor's hammer. Et cetera, et cetera. I'm making my point in a somewhat obtuse way, but hopefully this makes sense.

In any event, there are a few exclusively Christian symbols in the game (for example, there's still a copy of the the Bible floating around out there, isn't there?) and should probably be changed. Fortunately, we could always make the excuse that most exist in non-CF-only areas.

Now, if only someone would get rid of the basement room with the Christmas tree and the bicycles...
