The "enslaved-by-mental-collar excuse" is generally thought of as a more respected excuse than the "parents-and-village-killed-by-mages excuse" for ragers trying to explain why they want spellbane, truesight, and resist. While many would argue that both are highly absurb I interviewed many of each as a rager.

Here is the first one I encountered and easily the best. I don't think she was the first one to think of it for CF, but I still thought it might be nice for all of you ragers that don't want to have your parents killed by mages.

I don't think Ayame still plays, but then again I don't play often enough to notice her if she is still around. Sorry if you didn't want this revealed.
