Why did you mix the demons of fantasy with biblical angels?

Not to criticise the brilliance of the class and creation in general, but that one point has always struck me as odd. The angels as you depict them would be either a) not good or b) bindable .. they're basically align-opposite demons who submit to binding yet heal their captors and still claim the light for their enslavers.
