(I log in for a fine time of serving the Inn's public, as per normal...)

You have 9 new notes waiting.
[TROUPE] Olin the Innkeeper: Greetings, Celebeleni, the Inn brightens with your stories.
<642hp 830m 618mv>

(I do a where, and a who pk, and before I get a who Troupe in...:)

Your aging body finally gives out on you.
You turn into a ghost for an hour.
The obsidian eye amulet shudders and grinds shut.
Some rattling chains feels foreign to the touch, and it quickly falls to the ground.

(Quite a shock to log into... Khiravn would join me after a time..:)

It is 3 o'clock AM, Day of Deception, 23rd of the Month of the Heat.
The moon is currently waning.
The Carrion Fields started up at Sat Mar 4 01:34:40 2000
The system time is Sat Mar 4 13:44:04 2000

(Likely time of death is actually the beginning of the day before, 22nd the Month of the Heat.)

Khiravn sighs.

You say 'My old body finally decided to rest.'

<492hp 842m 618mv> People near you:
Khiravn The Bar of the Eternal Star
Astewin The Bar of the Eternal Star

Khiravn says 'Ahh'. Khiravn comforts you. Khiravn says 'And now you are speaking to the loved ones you leave behind?'

You say 'None are here. Tathlyn is of the heavens. There are none of Troupe left behind'

Khiravn nods.

You say 'About.' You shrug.

Khiravn says 'That's saddening. You could at least attend your own wake.' Khiravn chuckles politely.

You chuckle politely. You say 'I imagine I should compose.'

Khiravn nods. Khiravn says 'It will clear your head' Khiravn smiles happily.

You say 'Something.. to tell the lands I am off to rest.'

Khiravn nods.

You ponder the question.

The Bar of the Eternal Star
A large wooden bar fills the entire southern wall. Made of a rare red tree,
it has been finely carved and oiled so that it shines in the dim light. Food
is scarce near here but mugs and cups of every kind crowd the bar and
swing through the air for a toast. Shelves behind the bar hold the rare
ales and beers while large barrels sit stacked with the poorer drinks.
Stools are scattered about for people to sit, but most stand so they can
stomp and dance when the moment takes them. A large tapestry hangs
over the shelves behind the bar. People swarm in and crowd, pressing to
be nearer, calling out drinks and stumbling to hold on to their own. To
the north the crowd swirls, dancing and singing in a common area. Eastwards,
patrons cheer and groan noisily and long tables filled with food lie
west.

[Exits: north east west]
(Glowing) Some rattling chains have been left here.
The corpse of Celebeleni is lying here.
Rathjin is here.
(White Aura) Khiravn is resting here.
A stout dwarf bouncer hefts his cudgel and looks for trouble.
A huge, fat man roars with laughter as he passes out drinks.

You say 'Ahh, I can still move about... But like any honorable Trouper, I died at the bar.'

Khiravn sits down and rests.

You flex your muscles proudly!

Khiravn says 'I believe you just can not eat nor drink' Khiravn falls down laughing. Khiravn nods. Khiravn says 'A fine enough death, if it can not be in His battle. Khiravn says 'Well, I must depart'

You chuckle politely.

Khiravn bows deeply. The Theran form of Khiravn disappears before you.

Soriadh looks at you. Soriadh gasps in astonishment.

You bat your eyelashes.

Soriadh gets some rattling chains.

You say 'Winter comes for us all. But the chains would not bind'

Soriadh shivers uncomfortably. Soriadh says 'I.. I have never seen a ghost before'

You say 'Even in Death, metal is unwelcome for a druidess.' You chuckle politely.

Soriadh chuckles.

You say 'I have not been a ghost before. So we share a new experience.'

You wink suggestively at Soriadh.

[ Human ] Soriadh the Baroness of Tornadoes

You say 'I would offer a drink.. But I can't seem to remember how to make them'

Soriadh says 'It is no matter, good woman... attend to your affairs. I am but a stranger to you, and in your final moments that you are fettered to THera.. Well, I am sure you have better things to do than to speak with a young patron of the Eternal Star'

You say 'Ahh, but no friend have I here, to company me. My husband, in the stars.. My friends, all asleep.'

Soriadh frowns.

The Theran form of Astillian appears before you.
[TROUPE] Olin the Innkeeper: Greetings, Astillian, the Inn brightens with your stories.

Astillian gasps in astonishment. Astillian sniffs sadly.

The corpse of Celebeleni decays into dust.

Astillian hugs you.

You hug him.

Astillian The Bar of the Eternal Star
Tyriol The Bar of the Eternal Star
Soriadh The Bar of the Eternal Star
Astewin A Deep Cellar

Astillian says 'Poor Celebeleni'

Soriadh says 'Good druidess I have called a priestess of death I know to comfort you in your final hour'

Astillian looks at you.

You say 'Ahh..'

Soriadh says 'I do not know any of your friends.. but it's the best I can do'

You thank Soriadh heartily.

You hug him. (Astillian)

Astillian says 'Sad no other troupers are here'

You say 'At least a friend of life here, to see my death' You nod at Astillian.

Soriadh sobs in misery.

Astillian smiles weakly.

You say 'I have started my final writing, and was afeared to see it alone of my friends of life.'

Astillian says 'You will be missed'

You nod at Astillian.

You say 'My purpose... is done.'

Astillian says 'I wish that Tathlyn would be here though'

You nod at Astillian. You say 'The heavens must keep him busy'

Astillian nods.

Proserpina coughs loudly.

You say 'But I have lived these long years..'

Proserpina says 'Lady Celebeleni...'

Astillian beams a smile at Proserpina.

Soriadh thanks Proserpina heartily.

You say 'Two hundred and fifty-three.' You smile at her. (Proserpina)

Proserpina gapes speechlessly. Proserpina looks at you.

[ Elf ] Proserpina the Holy Heroine, Handmaiden of the Harvest

You say 'Winter comes.'

Astillian says 'It does but I wish it wouldn't be so soon'

You say 'If anyone should understand that, it truly is one with a touch on the seasons.'

Soriadh says 'These chains, priestess.. even in life her essence could not cling to metal.. I can think of no one else who would be more interested in this.. artifact'

Soriadh says 'They certainly bind me!'

You chuckle politely.

Soriadh whispers 'can you remove this curse upon me priestess?'

Astillian says 'I forget about the years that pass'

Proserpina closes her eyes and hums for an instant.

Soriadh blushes.

Astillian looks at Soriadh.

Proserpina closes her eyes for a moment and nods at Soriadh.
Soriadh's some rattling chains glows blue.

Proserpina blushes.

You say 'Aye, even in death, metal is a bar to my soul.'

Soriadh says 'If you wish to see these chains, they are quite heavy'

Astillian says 'I'm too weak'

You say 'I would take them if I could.. but.' You shrug.

Astillian says 'I carry around my 75 pound barrel of beer with me'

You say 'I've lost the touch with all mortality.'

Astillian smiles happily. Astillian says 'good for drinking'

You chuckle politely.

You say 'Perhaps you can make of drinks for Soriadh..'

Astillian nods.

You say 'I have lost the abilities of such.'

Proserpina says 'How are you feeling, Celebeleni?'

Astillian says 'What drink would you Like Soriadh'

You chuckle at her joke. (Proserpina)

You say 'Old!'

Proserpina fumbles for words.

You say 'Free, though.'

Proserpina looks at you and mutters something nasty under her breath. Proserpina chuckles politely.

You say 'As my goddess achieved.'

Astillian gives a glass of intoxicating colourful swirls of red and blue hues to Soriadh.

You say 'But my freedom comes away from other things.'

Soriadh drops some rattling chains.

Soriadh says 'Perhaps you can look at them on the ground then'

(Glowing) Some rattling chains have been left here.

Some rattling chains have been left here.

Astillian giggles.

Proserpina looks at you. Proserpina says 'I have heard that you are married to Tathlyn...does he know that the banshees are calling for you?'

You shake your head. You say 'I do doubt as such'

Proserpina looks at Celebeleni, concerned.

You say 'Off amongst the stars on whatever Immortal questing.'

Astillian says 'I would have been grand if you two would have been in the heavens together'

You say 'Ahh, but such was not fate.'

Astillian raises an eyebrow.

Proserpina says 'A pity that you cannot get to speak to him before the raven comes.'

Soriadh shakes her head sorrowfully.

Proserpina gives Soriadh a reassuring clasp on the shoulder.

You sigh.

Proserpina says 'But this is the best way to leave our mortal lives, with the years you've lived, it must have been fruitful.'

You nod at Proserpina. You say 'As I did say, my purpose is done.'

Proserpina says 'If I may ask, what was your purpose?'

You say 'I have borne children... And seen grandchildren.. I have served the Rhythm.. the Troupe.. '

Proserpina smiles warmly, emanating a radiant glow. Proserpina says 'Really?'

You say 'And seen my husband to the stars that I could never reach.'

Proserpina says 'That's wonderful, I wish I could have them one day too.'

You smile happily.

You say 'The Rhythm will take you as it will.'

Proserpina looks at you.

Astillian says 'So you served lady Lyria then'

You say 'I was Lyria's final Tear.'

Astillian smiles happily. Astillian says 'You served it well'

You chuckle politely. You say 'My writings served well..'

You say 'My Canticle of the faith is amongst the writings of the Lyceum.. As is my book of the Stars of Thera.'

Proserpina smiles at you.

You say 'I will live, so long as I am remembered.'

Proserpina says 'I must be sure to peruse them carefully when I get the opportunity.'

You smile at her. (Proserpina)

Proserpina says 'Do you have any friends remaining living in the present moment?'

You chuckle politely. You say 'Troupers, all asleep.'

Astillian stands up. Astillian hops around like a little kid.

You tickle Astillian.

Astillian says 'I'm not'

You say 'Except for Astillian. Jeurno.. Quinthen, of a fashion'

Proserpina looks at you.

Elfaroth gives an emerald bottle of rose wine to Enoch.

Enoch says 'Thank you.' Enoch raises his glass to you.

Elfaroth drinks wine from an emerald bottle of rose wine.

You smile at him. (Enoch)

Elfaroth whispers 'Cheers, my friend.'

You say 'Drink for me, as I cannot.' You chuckle politely.

Elfaroth nods at you in agreement.

You hear a music in the distance, coming closer.

Elfaroth says 'And one for you as well, then.'

Enoch says 'Time is short.'

You say 'It always is..' You ponder the question. You say 'Can anyone hear that?'

Astillian shakes his head.

Proserpina says 'Hear what?'

You say 'I hear music..' You chuckle politely. You say 'Funny thing to say, I always hear music.. But different.'

Proserpina holds Celebeleni's hands. Proserpina smiles at you.

Elfaroth whispers in Proserpina's ear.

Astillian attemps to hold on to Celebeleni, so as not to let her go.

You say 'It is nice, though.. To go into the true winter.. Unfettered.'

A winged mare appears in a swirling mist.

You gasp in astonishment.

Elfaroth peers intently at a winged mare.

Proserpina says 'I have not expected this, and I am ill prepared...but I would like to perform the rites for your passage nonetheless..'

A winged mare leaves west.

You say 'Lady Lyria?'

A winged mare sits down on the ground. A winged mare softly nuzzles your neck.

Proserpina reaches out and clasps your hand.

You smile happily.

Proserpina smiles warmly, emanating a radiant glow.

Astillian bows before a winged mare.

You smile at it. (Lyria)

Before you stands a beautiful winged mare with a snowy-white mane and
beautiful, sparkling, sapphire eyes. A sweet simple rhtyhm of music seems
to follow her wherever she goes, and around her are a thousand sparkles
that remind you of nothing less than the stars of the Theran night sky.
Her wings are spread like an angel's, and she alights on sure-footed
hooves in a kind of merry dance.

A winged mare is in perfect health.

You say 'My Lady!'

Elfaroth gallantly tips his hat to a winged mare.

You respectfully kneel before a winged mare.

Proserpina looks at a winged mare.

A winged mare whinnies softly and dances lightly on her silver hooves.

Astillian looks at a winged mare.

You smile happily. Celebeleni stands back up.

Astillian says 'Looking as lovely as ever'

Proserpina sighs, a tear disappearing on her cheek as soon as it appears.

You say 'Freedom comes for us all, never mind winter, hmm?'

A winged mare lowers her head silently as her deep blue eyes well with tears.

Proserpina smiles at you. Proserpina says 'She must be your seneschal, I think.'

[TROUPE] Olin the Innkeeper: Greetings, Jacynth, the Inn brightens with your stories.

<563hp 842m 618mv> [TROUPE] Celebeleni: Well met, and well wintered, Lady Jacynth

The winged mare looks at you, and words enter your mind: "Do not fear, Celebeleni. You and I shall dance together in the stars. The stars! Like a thousand diamonds you need look up to them no longer, for you shall be with them."

Proserpina closes her eyes and hums for an instant.

[TROUPE] Jacynth: Lady....

[TROUPE] Jacynth: It has been some time.

[TROUPE] Astillian: She is passing away Jacynth

You nod. You say 'I understand.' (Aloud, to Lyria)

A winged mare softly nuzzles your neck.

[TROUPE] Celebeleni: Aye, every song ends sometime.

Astillian says 'Well I won't let you leave with out hearing some of my jokes'
Proserpina chuckles at Astillian's joke.

[TROUPE] Jacynth: *sighs softly*

Astillian says 'Atleast you should go, go laughing'

[TROUPE] Jacynth: It is ne'er easy to watch a friend pass on....
[TROUPE] Celebeleni: You should come to the Inn, Jacynth. I can hug you perhaps one last time, in my unheld state.

You pat a winged mare on its head.

Astillian says 'A fire giant walks to a healer. He has a cucumber up his nose, a carrot in his left ear and a banana in his right ear.'

Proserpina snickers softly.

Astillian says 'Whats wrong with me?, he asked.'

You chuckle at his joke. (Astillian's)

Astillian says 'You're not eating properly, replied the healer. ' Astillian giggles.

You chuckle politely.

A winged mare lifts the heavy changes from the ground with her nose and places them around her neck, willingly accepting the burden of her friend and follower. A winged mare holds some rattling chains in its hands.

Proserpina says 'I will be sure to say that to the next fire giant I see with a carrot up his nose.'

You say 'They would not bind.. As metals never would come to my skin in life... they do not in death, it does seem.'

A winged mare stops using some rattling chains.

Jacynth takes you in her arms in a warm and loving embrace.

You wrap your arms around Jacynth in a warm and loving embrace.

Astillian says 'A Fire giant, a Duergar, and a Dark-elf walk into a bar.'

You say 'The sister I never had.' You tickle Jacynth.

Astillian says 'Olin says, Is this some kind of joke?' Astillian giggles.

Jacynth beams a warm smile at Celebeleni.

A winged mare prances sideways.

Proserpina will be right back!

Jacynth says 'Indeed, a true friend...for who else could keep such a charming smile on Tathlyn's face for all those years...and learn so much in such a short time.'

A winged mare flares her nostrils as a the tears welling from her eyes trickle down and tickle her nose.

Jacynth smiles at you.

You smile happily. You say 'I do not go sadly, do not be sad for me.'

Proserpina smiles at you.

You say 'Celebrate, and remember.'

Astillian says 'Yeah if you got to go, go with a smile' Astillian smiles at you.

Jacynth says 'Always, Lady.'

You nod at Astillian.

You say 'The Rhythm will lead me ever onwards. Perhaps there is something in the stars to see..'

You smile at it. (Lyria)

Jacynth says 'Many things I am sure, Lady...things you have ne'er dreamed.'

You chuckle politely. You say 'Not from this vantage.'

Proserpina smiles at you.

Jacynth says 'Is there anything I can do to help...anything you need?' Jacynth raises an eyebrow at you.

Tvedeza frowns at what you did. Tvedeza sighs.

You say 'I do not believe so. Unless you can conjure Tathlyn for a last hug.' You wink suggestively at Jacynth.

Proserpina chuckles politely.

Jacynth says 'If I could, I would.'

You say 'Then hug him for me..'

Jacynth says 'I can tell him that you asked on him though....I shall.'

You chuckle politely. You say 'My first thought was 'Oh Dear.. where's Tathlyn'..'

You say 'Even as the chains fell off my arms.'

Jacynth nods at Celebeleni.

Jacynth says 'An amazing husband you have...he was lucky to find such a wife to tolerate him all these years.' Jacynth winks suggestively.

You chuckle politely. You say 'Not so hard, truly.. If he got intolerable, you just turned him over your knee.' You wink suggestively at Jacynth.

Jacynth chuckles politely.

Proserpina snickers softly.

A mongoose attempts to nuzzle the entire room.

The edges of a mongoose's being stretch and twist and he returns to normal.

You peer around yourself intently.

Ceorkhan says 'Greetings friends.'
You nod at Ceorkhan.

Jacynth smiles at you.

Ceorkhan says 'And...its quiet here?'

Astillian says 'Perhaps you would like to hear some more jokes?'

You say 'People tend to silence at the time of a wintering.'

Ceorkhan says 'Uhm, its not that bad with quiet.'

Proserpina says 'Our lady, Celebeleni, here, is about to pass on from this mortal existence..'

Astillian seems to be a grumpy bear... he is grumbling at poor Ceorkhan.

You say 'Mind me, I just write to those who cannot attend..'

Astillian says 'Give me a break'

Ceorkhan says 'No.'

Astillian says 'My jokes aren't that bad are they?'

Astillian says 'Wait don't answer that'

Proserpina chuckles at Astillian's joke.

Astillian chuckles politely.

Ceorkhan sighs.

Ceorkhan looks at you.

You start to lose cohesiveness.

Jacynth watches over Celebeleni, a smile full of memories on her lips.

You say 'Mmm.'

You say 'My time comes closer'

You start to lose cohesiveness.

Celebeleni scribbles furiously..

Celebeleni: Winter on.
To: Troupe

I awoke at the Bar, this fine day of summer, to find myself to weak to remain.
My husband, with the business of the stars.. my friends, all asleep..
I live out my last hour quietly.
But the chains of death would not fetter me, they fell away..
But I am content.

My life's purpose ended some time ago..
My long life's companion ascended beyond my humble hold..
But such is the pull of fate, and time.
The Rhythm speaks truly, and mine own song comes to an end.
As ever I knew it would.

The music of life rang in my ears always..
And the song of death is not all so frightening..
It comes with a freedom that comes from beyond..
That no mortal soul shall ever know.

The fine winged stallion bears me on to the stars, as never I could reach..
And my near-sister comes to wish me farewell...
The only tear I can find is the one already there.
I do not go sadly, so shed no tears for me..
Celebrate my life instead, and always remember me.

I have loved, and been loved.. I have had the greatest luck to be with you all.
Congratulations to Felysha and Drayman. Be blessed indeed, and fruitful!
Jacynth, a fine friend and sister you have been. Remember love, as you remember all what we have shared.
Thank you, Astillian, for joining me in my final hour. A true friend you have been!
And humble thanks, always, to the greater powers of us all. Lady Poetry, and Lady Amaranthe!
Your guidance and loving care to the Troupe made life in the inn that much richer.

Walk well, in the Rhythm true, all of you!
-- Celebeleni Ceredente, Sapphire Stargazer of the Eleventh Hour

You start to lose cohesiveness.

Elfaroth says 'Well...if we need a break from Astillians...humor...I have a poem which I could inflict apon you.'

You start to lose cohesiveness.

Elfaroth says 'Very well, I shall proceed. Flee now, if you wish.'

Elfaroth stands up.

You faint.

You start to lose cohesiveness.

You say 'I hope he can read that.'

A winged mare trots slowly towards Celebeleni, her feet trotting lightly on the floorboards.

[ 11] Celebeleni: Winter!
Sat Mar 4 14:37:11 2000
To: Tathlyn

I love you, dearest!
Time wanes, but you must know that, as I go on.
Perhaps I will see you in your travels of the stars, I'll wink down my love on you.

All my love, always and evermore!
-- Celebeleni

You nod at a winged mare. You say 'It is time.'

You wrap your arms around Jacynth in a warm and loving embrace.
Jacynth takes you in her arms in a warm and loving embrace.

You wrap your arms around Astillian in a warm and loving embrace.

Ceorkhan sighs.

Description:
Before you stands the willowy figure of a slim half-elven nature
woman. Looking at her from head to toe, you see a crown of lilies
of the valley atop the silvery-grey hair that marks her in her
croneage. The woman's hair swirls loosely down her back, nearly
to her ankles. Peeking through her hair are the tips of your
typical smoothly pointed elven ears. The woman's cream coloured
skin reminds you of cotton in it's bloom, pale yet beautiful, even
though it is age-wrinkled. In her free dance, the woman turns her
eyes to look at you, silver-grey almondine eyes that remind you
of looking upon the stars at night. Looking upon the rest of the
woman's face, you note her finely chiseled nose, and her high
cheek-bones. On the woman's left cheek, you note a finely shimmering
sapphire teardrop. Smiling at you, the woman's deep, full lips seem
ready to burst into song in but a moment.

The woman wears clothes of the forest, in colours of greens and
browns, although attached to her belt is a pouch made of a deep blue
colored material, which she reaches down to grasp at from time to
time. Her clothes are free flowing and natural, much as she herself
is. No matter her troubles, she always seems to be in revel of life
itself.

You examine the rest of the woman,
noting her health and clothing:

Celebeleni, a female half-elf, is in perfect health.

A winged mare leans towards Celebeleni, nuzzling her neck softly.

Your form dissolves and you find yourself in Nothingness.
To use this name again, you must talk to an implementor.
[TROUPE] Olin the Innkeeper: Fare you well, Celebeleni, and may your stories never die.
Awaiting the hour of reprisal, your time slips away...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To those I did not get a chance to say my farewells to:

I had some unusual friends, from the Heights of Dawn, to the Depths of Empire. Jeurno, Radakh, Quinthen, Chalidae, the many youngsters who made themselves regulars of the Inn, that I knew all their drinks off the top of my head, there are far too many to name.

A druid of Music was fun, something a little unusual to spice life up.

Thanks for the Memories,
-- Celebeleni Ceredente, Sapphire Stargazer of the Eleventh Hour
