I had logged on without the head and was standing in imperial lands for about 5 minutes waiting to see if the other villagers would get it back from the golem.
Had I just started when I got there, it would have been dead before you logged on.
Even then, I was hoping for a failed conjuration to buy an extra 30 seconds because when I died, the Vanquisher was writhing...but was well enough to keep dirt in my eyes which is why my rising phoenix didn't hit either you or your demon and also why I couldn't switch to you...pretty irritating to die within 10 minutes of logging on.
