Quick prelude, I was equipped with the bare
minimum and decided to get the codex back
anyhow, so I naturally pick up a merc to make
things easier...after a half hour of no problems
this happens...

On the path
The path here seems well travelled. Its broad track winds through the trees
which are beginning to thin out. Nestled in some bushes on the side
of the trail, there's a bubbling mud puddle. To one side of you --
though you fail to figure out which side it exactly is -- you see the
ruins of a tower.

above you is traceable. North of you, a tunnel slopes down in the dark
soil.

Before the tower
This once huge tower is now crumbling and old. The massive battlements look
to have been torn apart by some wild force. Getting inside the ruins doesn't
look to be a good idea. In one of your directions you see a small hill
with a circle of stones at the top.
